El Segundo Dia (The Second Day)

Here we are in Pucon at the height of the tourist season. It is like Meredith, New Hampshire in July. Busy busy busy.
We have spent the day unpacking and working on the internet connection. The landlords spent the morning trying to get us connected and we are not yet recognized on the house system so she lent us her computer for the evening. The landlords are real estate agents that are very well traveled and very helpful. Our house was their home for twenty years. Our neighbors across the street are a family of three sons and wives grandfather and mother and seven grand kids under 7 years old. They are from all places: Boise, Idaho. They run a kayaking business here in the winter. They have been very gracious and have offered their wireless network for us to poach from if we can not connect our internet.
The house and the town are incredible. The climate is mild, the lake incredible, the volcano covered in snow is pretty special too. Besides all the modern conveniences and the natural beauty we have a housekeeper who cooks for us. This must be heaven.
Yesterday was an emotional day. We were exhausted and overwhelmed. Wondering what will unfold is as exciting as it is stressful. Today looks better for Henry. We found Nickleoden and other English shows. The cable provides an English option for network shows. Endless reruns of Greys Anatomy await us.
